APACRS 2026 Highlights: Fitlens Vision Presents Aura, JETT and Hanita Lenses to a Global Expert Audience

APACRS 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand convened cataract and refractive surgery specialists from around the world at the PEACH Convention Center to discuss advances in intraocular lens (IOL) optics, postoperative visual quality and integrated vision care pathways.

Fitlens Vision presented a comprehensive portfolio at Booth 19, encompassing Aura myopia prevention and control spectacle lenses, the JETT ocular surface treatment system and Hanita intraocular lenses, thereby addressing clinical needs from the operating theatre to outpatient practice and from pediatric myopia management to cataract surgery.

Aura introduced the topic of pediatric and adolescent myopia management into the APACRS dialogue. Ophthalmologists from India, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and other countries highlighted the increasing burden of childhood myopia in their regions and the need for evidencebased spectacle lens options that support both premyopia intervention and myopia progression control.

Aura was recognized for holding an EU CE medical device indication for “myopia control and prevention spectacle lenses” and for its clinical data published in leading peerreviewed journals such as Ophthalmology and JAMA Ophthalmology, which delegates regarded as an important basis for longterm clinical decisionmaking.

Within the cataract segment, Hanita, as a sub-brand of Fitlens Vision, showcased a full IOL portfolio ranging from monofocal solutions to extended and continuous range of vision designs.

Intensity, the world’s first pentafocal IOL, attracted particular interest; surgeons from the AsiaPacific region and Europe noted that its Dynamic Light Utilization (DLU) concept and growing multicenter evidence correspond closely to their pursuit of an improved balance between visual quality, light distribution and dysphotopsia control.

The JETT ocular surface treatment system also received considerable attention from cataract and refractive surgeons. Delegates emphasized that structured assessment and management of the ocular surface are essential for optimizing preoperative biometry, postoperative visual quality and patientreported satisfaction, and many indicated an intention to further assess how JETT could be incorporated into standardized perioperative protocols within their own centers.
